With her proud bow, gently sloping sheer, double chines and Palm Beach Towers (PBT) marlin tower, this Kingston Grey V-37 is pure eye candy. But don’t let her good looks deceive you. Loaded with top-shelf equipment and accessories, the recently delivered Valhalla 37 Crisdel is a fish-raising powerhouse. And she’s already flexing her muscles.

The owner and his best friend released a combined 50 striped bass during their first three days with the boat. They’ll continue to chase stripers off the Jersey Shore into late fall, and then Crisdel heads to the Florida Keys for sailfish, mahi, marlin and more.

A look aft from the helm showcases the mezzanine seating, spacious cockpit and 56-gallon live well with window. The transom seats can be quickly folded up to maximize cockpit real estate. The Optimus 360 Joystick Control System moves each of the 300-hp Mercury Verado V8 outboards independently for precise low-speed maneuverability while docking and fishing.

A showpiece for VBW’s attractive enhancements, Crisdel features a teak helm pod and teak helm chairs (both from Release Marine). Two Simrad 19-inch multi-function displays anchor the electronics package at the helm, which also boasts an Edson carbon fiber steering wheel. The joystick control is just outboard of the throttles. The tower and hardtop frame are fabricated with polished anodized aluminum pipe.

The underside of the hardtop is finished with Kingston Grey and outfitted with molded-in pancake-style teaser reels, recessed lighting and speakers.

Another pair of teaser reels is recessed into the sunshade, which also has a Kingston Grey underside. There are 12 rod holders welded onto the tower, which includes four that also serve as steps.

From bow to stern, you’ll find an effective balance of comfort and fishability. Integrated into the console, the forward lounge holds a cooler (or optional live well) forward and dry storage aft. Rod holders are conveniently flush-mounted in the lounge and forward coaming. The upholstery features Diamond/Bentley stitching. The toekick space around the lounge and forward seating and the recessed low-profile bow rail add to overall safety on deck.
