As promised, all three
V Series
high-performance center consoles (the
V-33
,
V-37
and
V-41
) debuted at the
Viking Yachts
&
Valhalla Boatworks
Sea Trial Event last week in Atlantic City. It was the culmination of a massive tooling and manufacturing ramp-up that began only seven months ago. In this V Report, we hit the rewind button and look back at the evolution of the V Series.

The
video
from the first sea trial of the
V-37
went viral (with a quarter million views!) as boating enthusiasts around the world witnessed the double-stepped performance of our
V Series
for the first time.

We established dedicated production lines for each model at
Viking
Mullica, allowing us to manufacture all three simultaneously. Above: Shipwrights conduct a test fitting for the hardtop of the first
V-37
. Below: Every
V Series
model is built with an engineered mounting structure for a Seakeeper installation.

With demand so high for the
V Series
(80 boats are now on order), manufacturing efficiency and adherence to a strict production schedule will continue to be instrumental in the success of
Valhalla Boatworks
. Above: Overhead hoists at
Viking
Mullica pull one of our boats from its mold. The molds are held by custom mold-turning systems for each model.

All of the tooling for the
V Series
was done in-house using our two five-axis routers – another huge factor in the rapid yet precise development of this brand.

Viking
shocked the marine industry in February with the surprise announcement at its VIP Preview in Florida that it was jumping into the center console market with an entire fleet of stepped-hull outboard-powered boats. We build these luxury center consoles with the same Viking engineering, quality and performance as our industry-leading yachts.
