Viking DNA

Valhalla Boatworks conquers new ground while continuing to embody the qualities of our family-owned-and-operated company. Viking owners have embraced the V Series, and many have already taken delivery of their first Valhalla, commissioning them as luxury tenders, hard-core fishing center consoles or sexy sportboats. A V-37 is shown above, coming home to her mothership, a Viking 80 Enclosed Bridge , outside of Florida’s Jupiter Lighthouse.

No other production boatbuilder has the vision and resources to provide its owners with a fleet of large sportfishing convertibles and a matching lineup of outboard-powered yachts, complete with common design, engineering and performance qualities and traits. As seen in this image, some of the shared design characteristics include a proud bow with a sharp entry and aggressively raked stem, a gently sloping unbroken S-shaped sheer and double forward chines.

Viking / Valhalla owners have taken advantage of our semi-custom capabilities, personalizing their Valhalla with the same aesthetic features of their Viking. For instance, Bob Genord’s Viking 80 and Valhalla 41 both boast faux teak transoms with the same name – Miss Victoria – and similar lettering and artwork. The Miss Victoria Viking and Valhalla share the same Shark Gray hull color. Their antenna and upholstery colors match, too, and both have faux teak toerails and Release teak helm pods. “It’s everything I hoped it would be,” Bob, a three-time Viking owner, says of his Valhalla 41 . “The quality, the fit and finish, the performance – it’s all there. And it’s just a beautiful boat. Heads have been turning.”

Our V Series vessels also possess the high-performance DNA of our legendary Viking convertibles, delivering speed, range and superior ride quality. The V-37 , for instance, has a range of 500 miles cruising at over 50 mph.   Both the V Series and the Viking fleet will be on display at our VIP Preview January 31 and February 1 at the  Viking Yacht Service Center  in Riviera Beach, Florida, followed by the  Miami Yacht Show , February 13-17.
